What about a Playing Technique taken from the likes of the guitar strings with a continuation line set to Solid with arrowhead?

I try to do a circle 3 but with the line after… in line editor… but it comes out as is… ??

No, select the whole passage, then add the playing technique, not a line.
It will create the line automatically. Then change the line type in engrave mode.

You can also do it as a line with a start cap and create the start cap in the line annotation editor as a Music symbol.
