How can I make a selection within a selection using the MIDI Logical Editor?

So, I am using the MIDI Logical Editor to select every note on beat 1.
Trouble is, the selection is made for the whole MIDI part, even if I select/highlight notes first.

How can I tell the Logical Editor to make the new selection within the current selection?

Not at DAW to give the exact steps. But in the top section you can have it only apply to selected notes. You’d want to use that as an AND.
