How can I move my 9.5 elements license to a usb

So now that I’ve upgraded my license to the new CB14 elements how can I move my 9.5 elements license to a usb so I can use it on another computer as the new license does not work for 9.5 and the computer it’s on will not support 14?

Any suggestions?

You can just drag and drop the license from computer to the usb elicenser in elicenser control centre. Has to be completed before 20th of the month when elicenser closes down.

Thanks for the quick response. Yes, I know you just drag and drop to move it but the 9.5 license no longer shows up. It comes up as Elements 11 upgrade and if I move it to the usb is that going to mess up the 14 license for my main desktop machine? And as I said before that license is not allowing 9.5 to activate on other computer.

That license should still work for C9.5 and moving it will not mess up your Steinberg licensing licenses as there is no connection between the two different methods

So I believe the question you need to answer is why the 11 license on elicenser is not working with your 9.5. Can you explain how it’s not working, maybe supply some screencaps.

On the Steinberg homepage was information about Elicenser and license update some times ago, like if you have updated to Steinberg licensing, your license stored on usb dongle or soft elicenser will become to latest version and status not movable.

That’s not correct or at least worded badly. Licenses will no longer be moveable after May 20th when the elicenser service closes, until that time their upgraded elicense is moveable and will have been upgraded to C11 which was the last Cubase version working on elicenser (but will also run older versions)
