I’ve recently purchased a Steinberg product that came with Cubase Elements.
I had to reinstall my Windows and therefore lost all programs and data, and now I want to reinstall Cubase and received this message:
The activation code has been used already. An activation code can be used only once to download or upgrade a license.
Please contact your software vendor to get a valid activation code.
How can I receive a new one?
(it says to contact your vendor but I’ve found Zero ways to contact Steinberg besides this forum…)

Go to your MySteinberg account (where you registered your software).
There should be a button labeled “Reactivate”. That’s where you request the code.

Hey there guys.
Im having the exact same issue here too.
I first purchased Cubase Elements 10.5
Then have upgrade too Elements 11
I am trying to install Elements on to my mates Mac as i dont use Cubase anymore.
The issue for me is firstly, I can’t activate 10.5 anymore.
Do i need to have 10.5 first then upgrade to 11?
Or should the Cubase Elements 11 on My Products be ok?
Second problem is…
When i goto Reactivate 11. It asks for a new Soft-eLicenser number.
Where am i supposed to find this?
The number shown on my e-licenser is the same as the old one.
I havent received any emails either.
Its driving me crazy.

I should have just read the damn instructions.
From the information ive read. Ive got to do the reactivating on the new computer being used.
Not try to do it from my current pc.
