Got a question which I’m hoping there is a simple solution to. Any help would be appreciated!
Here’s my setup:
HP Workstation Z820
Cubase 9 Pro
Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 2nd Gen
I’m using my Focusrite to record guitar/vocals etc. but I only want to use it as an input, not an output as I’ve got a solid computer which has a better soundcard than what the Focusrite can offer. So I’m using my Focusrite as my input and my computer’s own ASIO driver as my output and I’ve found it makes Cubase runs much better. The problem is I’m encountering some severe latency issues when I record. Can anyone offer any solutions to this? What am I missing here?
