How can I type my Chinese title and English title in separate lines with different font style? I am using projectitle and projectlyrist to type the Chinese and English title and insert them. However, is it possible to type both my Chinese and English title in projectitle? As I think that if I have a real lyrist in the future, the project info does not have enough info brackets for me to fill in.
If I can type them into projecttitle , can they be two different fonts? Thanks!!!
Hi @vincent_luk,
you have basically two possibilities:
You can type the title into a text editor with a line break (just pressing enter): 1st line for Chinese title text -Enter- 2nd line for English title text, then copy and paste all this into the Project Title field. Dorico will visualise it as 2 lines.
Result 1a:
You can use some Markdown characters to make part of the title bold or italics or both (but they stay the same font, basically):
for italics: * xxx *
for bold: ** xxx **
for bold italics: *** xxx ***
(all without the spaces between * and word)
Result 1b:
If you really need two different fonts, you need to first use two separate field in Projects info, to write the two titles separately:
Then you can add the corresponding tokens in the First page template, and edit one, selecting the whole token and changing the font in the editor:
Result 2:

Thank you for your wonderful reply! If it is possible, I hope we can use method 1 to choose different fonts directly. *I hope Dorico support team can read this message
