How can I write N.C(No Chord) in Chord Track?

Gemini and Chat GPT told me that I could enter N.C. in the chord track.

However, I tried the method they described, but it didn’t work.

Gemini told me there was a small x at the top, but I didn’t have one.
Chat GPT told me I could adjust it in the inspector, but I didn’t see a menu to do so.

My Cubase version is 13.0.

If anyone knows how to enter N.C. in the chord track, please help.

When you create a new Chord Event it initially doesn’t have a Chord set on it and will show an X instead of a proper chord name like Am7, C, etc. The X is the same size as the chord names. So just use the Pencil Tool to draw a new Chord Event where you want & you are done.

FYI There is a Preference that controls if an X Chord mutes the previous chord.

So does the X mean “No Chord”?

I wanted it to be marked as “N.C,” but I don’t think there’s a way to do that.
