I have searched the help and have a basic understanding of cautionary time signatures, but can’t seem to get it to work here. In this example, my D.S. ends a 4/4 passage. the Sign goes back to 6/8. How do I add a cautionary time signature in the measure with the D.S that shows at the end of the measure? Thanks.

In Notation Options there is a Repeat category. Make sure Tracking is on. (This is a per flow setting). In Layout Options->Repeats, select how you want the cautionary time/key signature to be displayed. (This is a per layout setting).

Wow. Thanks for the quick reply. much appreciated!
Thanks. I appreciate it.
Wow, again, thanks!. I like learning new things; I was clueless that this option existed. What a neat solution.
This was added in v6.2. The setting is on by default in new projects, but off in old projects (so that their appearance doesn’t change).
Genius! Thank you- and the Dorico team. Dorico just keeps getting "gooder and gooder"![]()
Note to myself: Download and review the version history file with each update! The team keeps adding all kinds of goodies! ![]()
