How do I add a number in the top left corner of score and parts?

My score is for a string quintet. My professor wants us to put a number in the corner of our score like this (order of scores to be played).

I don’t remember how I put the number in the corner on the full score, but it was probably not correct, because when I tried to do the same thing on the individual parts, it was adding the “6” inside the full score on the line for each instrument as well. So how do I add a number in the top left corner in the correct way?

Secondary question, how do I add bar numbers on every measure to both the score and the parts?

In Engrave mode, edit your First page template and add a text frame that contains this number.

Note that the parts use a different page template set than the score – you’ll need to add the number both in the First template for the score and the First template for the parts.

I tried that first, but when I would double click the new text frame I added (when I was still in engrave mode), it set the text to start typing where the title was, instead of in the new frame I created.

It can be a little tricky when frames overlap or are close together. Try creating the frame somewhere else on the page, pit the number in, and then move it to where you want it.
