How do I change from Ramp to Jump ?

Hi,

I have automation on an FX channel on volume and want to switch a ‘ramp’ I have to a ‘jump’ but I can’t seem to find where to do this in the Cubase GUI - any help appreciated!

there’s no such automation option - Jump curves are created for on/off parameters such as Mute. Ramp curves are created for any parameter that generates continuous multiple values, such as fader. You can also use various modes of the Line tool for drawing curves, see pg 279.

I find the Mix control on the McDSP Futzbox version 6.6 has the same issue. Cubase only draws ramps for that.
