How do I change the audio output?

I have several options but the only the app only sees one of them.

Somehow it connected to my TV speakers. It shows no other options, and now even the TV speakers don’t work. What am I missing?

What are those options?
O/S?
Interface?
Driver?

There are no other options. There should some way to connect to the audio output on my Mac, but I don’t see anything.

I have the same problem in Dorico. The output comes thru my Mac speakers, even tho I should be able to route it thu the mixer I have connected to the Mac. I just don’t know where to look to change it.

Ok…so you don’t use an interface you’re on Mac and you want to use built in audio yes?

Is built in audio selected under studio setup audio system?
Now what do you see under the audio connections window?

So now it’s a mixer…but we don’t know what one, whether it’s a USB device or you connected that to the mac audio or what.

It says Sony TV as the only option, and even that’s not working now.

I don’t see an audio connections window

I switched it to built in audio, but I’m still not hearing anything

OK, I got built in audio to work, but I have an external audio jack plugged into the Mac. How do I get it to come thru that?

My Mac’s external output jack is connected to a mixer and speakers. The sound is coming out thru the built in speakers now.

Sorry, if I seem clueless it’s because I am. This is my first time trying the software.

When I unplugged HDMI for the TV the sound started blasting thru the mixer and speakers.

I plug the TV back in and the sound comes thru my built in Mac speakers,

I’m not a mac user but this switching of outputs that happens automatically as you unplug/plug things must be handled by your mac audio system…You should probably take a look in there.
