How Do I create a vertical "Double Stop Bracket" to for a string part?

I need to create a double stop bracket to indicate that one player needs to play two notes at once (this to show which two of the three stacked notes in a divisi part player number 1 should play). I noticed an older forum topic from 2016 indicated Dorico had not added that feature, but I’m wondering if thee has been an update since then. Thank you.

The line tool, used vertically, should do the job.

Yes! Thank you, Derrek!

Also: what are you using to outline the areas of the line tool and frame the elements here? Very cool.

Simpler than the line tool, you can use the non-arpeggiated ornament (shift-O nonarp)

I used MS Paint on a screenshot.

Ah, great. Thanks for letting me know and for taking the time to do that on my behalf.

Thanks, Janus. Another good solution. Would this allow bracketing just the two “stems up” notes like I’m able to do with the line tool?

Yes. Just select the notes you want to bracket together and use the popover.
