I have a track in 12/8. I’m scoring it, and went to put the Tempo Indicator Symbol at the top of the score. That’s when I noticed Cubase is counting the BPM based on quarter notes not dotted quarter notes as should be happening in 12/8 (or 9/8 or 6/8).
I see I can right click and have the score show the proper BPM, but how do I get the project itself to reference the proper beat? That would make writing the piece easier when referencing the grid.
