I don’t speak for the dev team, of course, but I’ve seen them ask for more information, or sometimes confirm that something is a known issue. Or provide steps for resolution.
The issue you reported here does look odd to me. I haven’t done all that much with custom playing techniques, so I’m not sure what may have led to this.
I’ve never interacted with them, but note that they are generic Steinberg support, not Dorico-specific support.
