Hi. How can I get the NI Komplete Kontrol S49 sustain pedal to register in cubase 10 pro. I believe it was working earlier prior to the firmware update. I am able to get it to work with the NI Komplete Kontrol standalone app. Any help would be appreciated.
What exactly is the problem? What do you mean by “register the pedal in cubase 10”?
It should work natively if transmitting MIDI CC64 messages, as expected. Be sure that the MIDI channel used by the pedal matches the one on which the involved instrument is supposed to receive the messages sent. If you have any doubt, use the bundled MIDI monitor plug-in as an insert to check the messages sent by the pedal, after having set the instrument or MIDI track channel to Any.
Another issue can arise, related to the polarity of the pedal (Up->Down or Down->Up ; it depends of the manufacturer…), but this should be definable accordingly on the NI keyboard itself.
