How do I Insert a Marker???

says to just press Insert to insert a marker but nothing happens. Pls assist.

I set up a key command for it which I made alt/m , you maybe have to have the marker track showing as well?

1st, add a “Marker Track” then there should be a button in the marker track track controls section (the button with a + sign) to add them at the cursor location.

If the Marker Track is selected then Insert should create a new marker at the cursor - unless that default Key Command has been changed. So verify your Key Commands are set to the default.
