Thank you for the Finale crossgrade opportunity. I have watched a lot of the videos but am not finding this piece of my work flow…
I compose initially at the piano, then develop my idea into a score on Finale. Then using the Aria Player plugin, I import the midi file from Finale into Logic Pro X so I can record my vocals. After mixing, I can bounce my finished Logic Pro project to mp3. The mp3 is now a finished sound product that I can share.
In replacing Finale with Dorico - HOW can I bring a Dorico score into Logic Pro X?
Thanks! Shannon
Similarly to Finale, you’d probably just export a MIDI file from Dorico.

Thank you - I will have to try the midi file.
I have used Finale since 2012. So without the Aria player plugin and Garritan instruments, I did not know how moving a midi file into Logic Pro X would work. So I will try it tomorrow and see…Thanks! Shannon

You can still use the ARIA Player in Dorico.
When you export a MIDI file from Dorico, it will contain all the keyswitches and CC data for whatever expression maps and VST libraries you’re using: so you can then use the same VSTs and libraries in Logic.
Thank you for helping me. I will see what I can do with Aris Player.
