How do I notate a piece in 4/2 time but give it a cut time signature? I’m working with Renaissance music.

Input a 4/2 time signature, then select it, and activate Common/Cut common in the Properties panel.

But my bar at the bottom of the screen doesn’t look exactly like yours. There are no tabs on mine labeled Time Signature. Everything else looks the same.

Paul, you have to select your 4/2 Time signature to change its properties

The properties that appear in the bottom panel are very dependent on what you have selected.
