How do I paste without inserting into the arrangement?

HI,
I am trying to paste bars/phrases into a score and would like to past OVER the existing notes. Dorico is INSERTING the new section and jogging the remaining score back to accommodate.

Could anyone point me to the setting where I can replace passages by pasting them?

Sounds like you have Insert mode turned on. Either click its icon in the left panel or type I to turn it off.
