How do I recorad a track using Padshop 2
When you record a VSTi you get a MIDI track underneath. Once you have recorded the MIDI you have multiple choices, but the easiest thing is to “render in place” (Edit menu).
Sorry I may be one step later. If you want to USE Padshop. Make an instrument track and choose Padshop as the instrument. Record enable the track, then click record on the transport. You will hear padshop, but you will get MIDI data, not audio. Once you have the MIDI data, you do the steps I put earlier.
