Hi, could someone help please, I’m using arturia mini v as an instrument and cubase won’t record the arpeggiator effect located in the advanced section of the mini v. It only records the notes played but not the arpeggiator effect. Surely it’s possible to make a recording of the effect?
Hi, as far as I know (but I may be wrong, never got into this really), the VST has to have the functionality of sending out MIDI data to a temporary virtual port it creates.
I don’t recall mini v having this functionality while for example, Pigments does have it.
Hi m.c, thanks for your reply, I can’t find the possibility to use a temporary virtual port. I’m new to cubase and I’ve no previous experience with using DAW. Hopefully someone else may know more.
Of course you can’t, since the Mini V doesn’t provide one.
You would have to ask Arturia this question. They need to program their plugin accordingly. This has nothing to do with Cubase, I’m afraid.
Thanks Johnny, I’ve written to Arturia for help
I know with my Minilab 3 it needed to be in ‘Arturia’ mode rather than DAW mode to record arpeggios.
