How do I set Dorico Pro 5 to default to HALion 7?

Instead of defaulting to HALion Sonic, can I? Or Should I? change Dorico Pro 5 to default to HALion 7 instead of HALion Sonic?

You can do, it’s up to you and your liking.
To set it up, go to Dorico’s Preferences dialog, and there on the Play tab (I think) are some options for that. You can either say “use always the best” and that implicitly is HALion 7 or you tell it to use the “preferred” one and set that explicitly to HALion 7.
