How do I split the thin bracket between violin 1 & 2?

Hi again,
How do I split the thin (most left) bracket between violin 1 & 2? Where do I change this so I have one (thin) bracket for vl 1 and one for vl2?

In Layout Options:
Sub-brackets for adjacent violin players > Separate

Together with Use secondary brackets, despite the confusing example.

Sorry. But now I get the secondary (thin) bracket even when there is only one staff on SOME of the pages (see pictures). Is this a condensing issue? I went through the complete score yesterday and did all the necessary manual changes with condensing and I’m not super keen on doing it all over again…
