How do I turn off the stupid flashing when I go into Master Section?
I hate it because it gives me a headache.
Mark, I"m going to offer unsolicited perspective here: what for you may be an actual annoyance or cause for displeasure may be for others a useful enhancement. WaveLab is a remarkably complex software accomplishment, aimed at a diverse set of audio amateurs and professionals, each of whom come with their own needs and preferences. Thus, it is highly adaptable and the customizations are many and varied.
Please do use the forum; it is here for the benefit of us all. But–please save your disparaging adjectives (e.g. “stupid”) for your own private discussions and show due decorum here in public. I don’t specifically hate them, but they do give me a headache, and cause for pessimism.

That is my opnion, and am allowed to have my opinion. I think the flashing is stupid, because it is totally useless and uneeded, and might even be dangerous for people who suffer from epilepsy.
I don’t mind annoyances in software like this, if they can be turned-off.
I looked for a way to turn this off, and it looks like it cannot be turned-off.
What flashing are you speaking about?
The blue border light around the Master Section may be.
This happens when master section (only master section) is docked.
Now, as you mention it… yes, this could be annoying, indeed.
But it is no show stopper, imho.
