I’ve read the part about multi-note tremolos in the Dorico manual and I still don’t understand. I want these two fifths to be a dotted half note (whole measure) multi-note tremolo with 3 slashes.
Nevermind, I figured it out.

In case anyone finds this thread in future, the answer is:
- Input these chords as dotted crotchets (dotted quarter notes) – you may need to use Force Duration to ensure that they appear as dotted notes with a single stem, and not a crotchet tied to a quaver.
- Select both chords.
- Input a multi-note tremolo

And for Finale converts, it worked almost exactly the same way over there.
