Installed the trial version on my Mac (MBP OSX 10.8.5), and tried removing it manually, but I must be missing something. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, I have. Problem is (not a big one though), the Beat Agent: Metronomic Cinema icon still shows up even after doing so… which probably means I have yet to delete some other files/folders.
Okay. I think I got the problem resolved already. Trashing the preferences folder for Groove Agent did the trick.
