How do I write an Opera in Dorico?

Hello!

I am trying to write an Opera and I am struggling with how to format it. I’ve made new page templates for Dialogue scenes, new pages for music with headers and the like, but every time I try insert one of these pages (even after I’ve typed in all the information) it only inserts them as blanks and doesn’t have anything I put in. I’ve made new flows and it wont let me put new headers in new flows (which I thought was the point of that system). I’ve done everything I can think of to make the formatting work and nothing I’m doing is working at all!

How do I do/fix this? It’s getting really frustrating.

Do you know the helpful video, by @benwiggy? (the video is 3 years old, and meanwhile there are new useful features in Dorico):

From your description it seems that you may have page overrides. If you would like to share a Dorico project that shows your issues, we can give specific advices.
