How do you adjust input gain?

I know this is a silly question, but is there a way to adjust the input gain when using the internal mic on iPhone or iPad? I can’t seem to figure it out. If it’s automatic, does it auto adjust if the gain is to soft or too loud?

Thank you for your message.

Please make sure to set the correct audio recording level in the hardware device you are using.
If this is not possible, the monitoring function and mixer in Cubasis might be helpful to track levels.

Nevertheless we do recommend, setting proper levels via the hardware in use.

Thank you Lars, When using the internal Mic on the iphone or ipad, I don’t see a way to adjust input gain. (when not using any kind of hardware) I wonder If I can do it using a plugin? …to monitor the signal…
