How do you create a list of missing files in an AAF import?

Hello Gents,

There is something I can not figure out, so if there is a way, I need to know asap;
How do you create and send out a list of missing files in an AAF import ?
Have been looking for this option for a long time, so any help would be highly appreciated.

And I take it you are looking for a real text file, not just a screenshot of “Missing Files” window?

Oswald

Yes Oswald…exactly.
The path names are long & would need multiple screen captures to cover the long list as well.
Many thnx !!

Anyone ?
Please…

Just a quick answer, shot from the hip so to say as I’m currently not in front of Nuendo:
Wouldn’t this work:

  • select all text in the missing files window (e.g. with Ctrl-A)
  • copy with Ctrl-C
  • paste in a new WordPad document …?

select all text in the missing files window (e.g. with Ctrl-A)

No. That does not work. No text is selected or copied.
In pool or project browser you can copy single entries, but not all or groups of entries. In missing files window not even single entries can be copied.
As lemix needs the path it would have to be copying from pool…

Oswald

It’s all good now, thanx Guys.
Had to call in the PGM editor from day off for a re-export.
It was a mess on their MC, and the intern didn’t know any better…

And yes…there is no way to simply copy a text list out of Nuendo !! :smiling_imp:
