I’d like to know what method Cubase users prefer when exporting to mp3, eg do you do a .wav export first and then convert or go straight from the program and does using 32 bit float affect quality positively or negatively or is there little discernible difference with 16 or 24 bit and does sample rate factor?
And for the experts, how does one go to DVD and are there differing requirements for CD?
Is that a plug in for Cubase that can be used instead of the Export window?
I was considering Wavelab Elements, as I believe there is some kind of integration between the DAW and Mastering apps so can Ozone be used in both environments?

No. I export first then manipulate afterwards. I use SF10 and Ozone for post-production. Ozone can be used within Cubase on individual tracks or applied to the output buss but I never use it that way.
I run a Songwriters Studio so I don’t have to be too critical about recording perfection.
