I’m working on some materials for guitar, and I’m trying to enter a vertical line with right-facing hooks to indicate a momentary barre. When inputting the line on the top staff, it also populates on the tablature staff. I don’t want it to appear in the tablature, and I can’t figure out how to make it invisible. Setting the Custom Scale property to 1 affects both of them. The only way I can see is to drag the tablature staff’s line off the page in Engrave Mode, but this method is going to make for a messy project given the number of these I’m going to need to enter.

You can select the line in the tablature and set it’s colour opacity or alpha to 0% in the properties panel:

If you have more of those lines to hide, you can select the whole tablature, right click and filter for vertical lines, and set the desired colour property for all of them all at once.
