How do you set up to playback to analog chain and record back to Wave lab?

I’m new to Wave Lab Pro 11 on a Mac Mini running Big Sur, and having trouble doing simple mastering. I’ve been using SADiE for years and recently changed. I’m trying to set it up to playback form WL to my analog chain and record back to WL to edit and maybe a limiter.
I’ve read the manual and watched many tutorials and I’m still having difficulties.

There are two ways to send audio to and from the analog chain. External FX plugin, and a Reference Track to a normal montage track.
