I have a work that I’m transcribing (La Valse) which for several players have 2/2 time while the majority of the orchestra has 3/4 time. PLease help. Thanks!

A hidden 4:3 tuplet should work. For safety, I would re-enter those bars myself, instead of trying to import.
In the actual parts, it’s marked 2/2 . Is there no way to have 3/4 2/2 indicated in that bar? It can be done in Sibelius and Finale.

Yes, you can use an independent time signature. But to retain the connection with the rest of the score you will need to enter it as a pickup (shift-M 2/2,3) and then use hidden tuplets to notate it correctly.
Having studied this score, I find the use of 2/2 time signatures to be somewhat arbitrary and unnecessary. There are far more bars that use explicit 8:6 tuplets - even adjacent to to 2/2 bars. Personally I would be tempted to ignore the 2/2 bars and just continue the tuplet notation. Nothing would be lost.
Will give it a try. I was just trying to keep continuity with the original score.
Thanks!
