I am already using dorico pro 4 and want to upgrade to pro 6. I am interested with sharing dorico pro 6 with one more person. Now, I know dorico lets 3 people use it at the same time but I want to be sure about if the same goes for the “iconica opus” and “etude” as we both want to use them and purchase the entire bundle.
Steinberg Licensing allows ONE user to install the software on THREE machines. It is intended for people who have a laptop and a desktop, with one more ‘seat’ if you need to work somewhere else.
It’s not intended that you give them out to different people; though I suppose if they were in your family and thus in your house, then that would be ‘on the line’, rather than over it.
The licensing terms are the same for all Steinberg products.
Anyone using one of your licences would have access to your My Steinberg account.
It’s also worth mentioning that you can upgrade from Dorico 4 to 6, with Iconica, all at a reduced price, as part of the current promotion.
