How much data is duplicated between Halion Sonic Selection, Sonic Play and Iconica Sketch?

Is it possible to delete Halion Sonic Selection and/or Sketch if sounds are duplicated within Halion Sonic Play?

Hi @cubaser,

You can choose to delete the HALion Sonic Selection content by opening the HALion Sonic Selection section in the Shop and removing it there.

Please note that Iconica Sketch is a separate orchestral app and is not related to either HALion Sonic Selection or HALion Sonic Play in terms of content.

While we can choose to ‘delete’ Halion Sonic Selection doing so also removes many of the ‘shared’ sounds from Halion Sonic Play.

After downloading the remaining sounds for Halion Sonic Play Halion Sonic selection gets activated again and as far as I know we can currently not ‘hide’ Halion Sonic Selection on the instrument browser once Halion Sonic Play is fully installed.

I have that issue also; there seems to be no way to uninstall HALion Sonic Selection; if you uninstall it, and then install Sonic Play, it will bring back Sonic Selection. No problem though, it just sits there, quietly ignoring us :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
