Been using Cubase 12 pro for a while now with a few niggling issues but since trying out the free version of Dorico it’s all got rather problematic. Anything that uses Reverence fails to find it’s impulse files, and halion files are similarly elusive. And Dorico starts up with an error message…
an essential component used by dorico for playback has not been found
and I can get no playback. SO I just want to take the whole steinberg system off and reinstall it to get the damned thing working properly as it’s totally taken the fun out of creating.
It may be something in the upgrade from C10 to 12 that caused the loss of files, I’ve tried installing both programs again in Download Assistant many times so figure starting afresh is the way forward. Does anyone have any advise for getting it all off and then back on again?
