Is it possible to have this 8ba indicated only for the low voice? I would rather the upper voice stay just the way it is for the first six notes of the measure. I would suspect this is proper notation. How do I do this?
Input the 8ba by selecting the down-stem note and pressing Alt/Opt-Return to close the popover. If that doesn’t work, show the caret and make sure the voice indicator is showing the down-stem voice and input in the same way.
Hmmm, seems to be the same issue when I try that; the G note above it is still included in the 8ba.
Invoke the caret.
Ensure that the caret is in the correct voice.
Type Shift-C 8ba Alt-Enter Space.
