Hi,
I recorded via MIDI-Keyboard some chords to a track.
In lack of keys I have to record the bass keys in a second recording on the same track.
How can I now the two created parts glue together to one part. The glue stick is greyed out.

Use the select tool to select all the midi events on the track and the glue icon should light up. Ideally Cubasis should show/indicate when multiple overlapping audio / midi events are present on a track.
This is something @LSlowak and the team could take a look at at some point unless it’s already fixed in the upcoming update…
Thanks,
that worked. I didn’t had the select tool on the screen.
And an indication, that there are multiple parts under the surface is a very good idea.
once you’re satisfied with the midi and are done with editing the keys you can freeze the track and turn it into a waveform then delete the midi track.
Hi @iDShaw
Would suggest to keep the MIDI track (and mute it or similar) in case of later changes or edits.
Best,
Lars
