How to add chord symbols to non rhythm section instruments for solo improvisation sections.
I want to add chord symbols for a repeated blowing section with flute, sax, clarinet, and trumpet.
I only want the chord symbols to appear in the improvisational section but not in the rest of the piece. Is there a simple way to achieve this?

Yes, Janus provided the solution. I was not intending to claim credit for it.

You can go back and click the Solution checkbox next to Janus’s post. Not so much an issue here, but that’s really helpful in longer threads so the user doesn’t have to read through the whole thread and can get right to the solution.
