How to add click to an imported audio-file?

Hello!

Is there a way to add a click-track to an imported .mp3-file?
I know the tempo for the song, the BPM, but when I add the click to the audiofile, it doesn´t fit. Im trying to turn the snap “off” and align the track to make it fit, but no matter what I do I cant get it to fit with the track.

My results when I search on YouTube, is how to detect tempo on a drumbeat. Thats not what Im after, I want to align the click to the imported audiotrack.
