How to add finer detail below -42 dB while zooming

Try to determine the noise level in dB by zooming in the Sample Editor.

Unfortunately, there is no additional information shown on the scale below -42 dB when zooming in.

I couldn’t find information on how to change the level of detail shown for values below -42 dB. Can this be done?

I don’t know, but you could up the volume by a number of dBs (process the clip) and thus it would become bigger noise that you might then be able to see. Having seen it you can factor back down the dB level to obtain the noise floor. You’ve probably done this already :slight_smile:
