Coming back to CB after a while and I can figure this out.
I have 32 regions on a track. I want to place a marker at the start of each one. Do I have to go through the time lien and add each one individually.
CB 14 pro no Mac.
Thanks for any help.

I think so. Although you can add a bunch of markers all at once, title them and then drag them around your timeline.
I used to add cycle markers by highlighting a part, hitting P to put the locators around that part and then hit command / option M to get a new cycle marker.
Then hit the right arrow to go to the next region, rinse lather repeat.
However, I just tested the “add cycle marker” (command / option M) in C13 and it seems to be gone now. I found it in the Markers pane but there doesn’t seem to be a key command any more.
Does anyone know where the “add cycle marker” key command went?
Thanks. Im looking for something that Logic does really easily. In Logic you select all the regions, then choose crate markers from regions and it’s all done.
Id rather not have to go through each one manually. This is quite a regular project so i might just stick with Logic. It seems more suited to this sort of thing.
Thanks for that!
Yeah, I went from C10.5 directly to C13 so that did change.
When I’m looking for key commands I usually evoke the process by using the menu items or buttons. Then I open key commands and the item I just evoked is usually highlighted. That didn’t happen when I clicked on “add cycle marker” from the Markers pane.
Cheers.
Could be. It seems like a reasonable feature.
I set up key commands adding and locating for numbers 1-9 on my number pad with one keystroke. I’ve never felt the need for more than 9 at a time.
Just out of curiosity. how do you locate to markers in Logic that are double digit?
Yeah. As much as i love Cb, it seems a bit more work to get where i need with these projects. I loved 12, didnt use 13 as it was too unstable at the start, and find 14 to be more stable but ive still lost work a few times when its crashed in just a few weeks.
The markers are in place to show me what regions are what songs. I don’t tend to need to use shortcuts to jump about, i just need the markers in place, so no idea how Logic deals with multi digit numbers.
I’d use cycle markers for songs. That’s what I do when I’m mastering in Cubase. Then you have the start and end for exporting each track.
The method I mentioned at the top is pretty quick and there is also “add and edit marker…” in the key commands which makes a marker and brings you right to the title field ready to type. I’m sure you type in song titles for what you’re doing.
Check out the markers section of the key commands.
You could also build a macro to accomplish pretty much anything.
