How to add suspensions (e.g. 4-3) to chord symbols?

Is there a way to add suspensions to chord symbols? Something like G4-3?
Thanks!

You can add it under Library->Chord Symbols.

Wow! Thanks, I’ll try to get a hold on it this way.

Here’s a file. If you open Library->Chord Symbols and click the star icon at the lower left with the 4-3 chord selected, it will save as default, so reopening your own file should then have the chord.

4-3 chord.dorico (516.6 KB)

Thanks so much! How do I then enter the specific chord? E.g. if I want to enter G4-3 what would I enter into the Q Popup? This is the missing link for me that I still don’t quite get.

Hm, in your project I can leverage them by just entering G4-3. Why does it not work in my project when creating a custom chord symbol? Do I have to map it somewhere to the 4-3 string?

Don’t think so, can you share the file? You can pm me if you prefer by clicking my avatar->Message.

Ah, restarting Dorico fixed it for me. Thanks a million!

Good.
