Hi, I couldn’t find any info about this after a lot of searching - is there a way to extend the 8va symbol arbitrarily over any number of notes or bars? When I tried to click and drag the handles nothing happened.

Click on the dot on the bottom right side and move it left/right.
Thanks Martin, maybe I have some setting, mode or other state engaged that locks out that interaction, as that’s what I meant by ‘drag the handles not working’.
I eventually gave up and did the things I needed to in Dorico, where it indeed works that way. I also had the same problem when I tried testing this with things like trills and piano pedaling markings - no ability to click and drag.

Are you on Mac or Windows? Do you use HiDPI, any scaling factor on the system level or in Cubase? If you are on Windows, what graphic card do you use?
I can’t move by draging either, but key commands work:
alt + arrow = exstend in arrow direction
shift+alt+arrow = shrinks in arrow direction
ctrl + arrow = moves in arrow direction
Windows 11 on a RTX 3090, no HiDPI in Cubase or scaling at the system level. However, I switched the NVIDIA driver to the Studio Driver (away from the Game Ready Driver) not that long ago.
When I click the dots/handles sometimes I’ll see the dashed lines flash briefly coming out of the dots showing where they are anchoring, but overall the manipulation functionality of the symbol feels frozen and unresponsive.
