How to apply reverse processing to a selected audio track

The problem is… let’s say I put a snare audio sample (not a sample track) on a project and laying down several shots, I want to reverse just ONE snare shot to create a reverse snare effec in the project. When I apply reverse effect, the entire snare shots (audio parts) are also reversed. I want to apply the effect on ONLY ONE audio event. Do any of you know how to do this?

I used to be able to do this without any problem. Recently my Cubase setting got reset all of a sudden including my iLok machine authorization (idk what the cause was tbh). I built the same exact macro for reverse effect (shift + ctrl + R) and I don’t think I set up something special before. :disappointed_relieved:

My setup:
Windows 10 Home
16GB RAM
Intel Core i7-8700K
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB
Audio IF Steinberg UR-RT2
Cubase Pro 10.5.30

Change the Preference under Editing - Audio - On Processing shared clips and select Create New Version.
