Other companies also make good programs. It seems to me, that Steinberg rests on its laurels for several years. Other companies move forward and implemented all those âbasicâ stuff, that people mention in the forum (Spectral Layers, Cubase, Wavelab) over and over again.
Please Steinberg, implement the âbasic stuffâ, that makes the common customer happy.
We are in 2025, not 2005 anymore.
That is not the concern here, if there is a feature that claims it works, it has to work or it should not be there confusing users.

Also very true. Ergonomics, plausibility and intuition should not need further explanation.
7 bits equal 128 different values are not enough for fine adjustments. So, midi seems a bit outdated in general. But that is indeed a complete different story.
