You need to assign the half note F to a new down-stem voice in the upper staff. I mean: it should not be a note ‘borrowed’ from the lower staff.
In order to tie this new note to the preceding F 8th, select both notes and press T. That’s the way to do it if notes are in different voices.
(When creating the half note in a new voice on the 3rd beat, it’s likely that rests will appear for that voice. You can use Remove Rests to get rid of them).

The quaver F needs to be a cross-staff note (N) the minim F needs to be moved to the upper staff (Alt/Opt-N).
