How to bypass/disable startup file prompt and access Batch Processor directly?

Hello,

I’m looking for a way to streamline my workflow regarding WaveLab’s startup behavior. Currently, I’m facing two issues:

  1. The startup screen always prompts me to add a file, which is unnecessary since I often work with my Batch Processor Template files only. Sometimes I just need WaveLab to start-up in the background, without having made a decision which file to work on yet. So no need for a splash screen.

  2. When clicking the Batch Processor icon, it shows a “drop files” interface instead of directly displaying my template files.

Is there a way to:

  • Disable or bypass the initial file prompt/startup screen? (Preferred)
  • Configure the Batch Processor to show my templates immediately?

I’ve checked the settings but might have missed something obvious. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as this would significantly improve my workflow efficiency.

Thanks in advance!

Never mind, I found the solution:

1.) There is very small "Use as Default (Do Not Show This Dialog Again) which I missed. (or “Create Empty”).

2.) Also overlooked “Create”, which does show my template files.

Case closed.
