How to: Change BPM speed of an audio file

Hi Guys

I tried hardly on Cubase 8 to Chance the BPM of an importet Audio file (it is a song) with different Settings and timestreching modes but with no sucess. anyone can teach me how to do it properly? Big thanks

Hi,

Change the Object Selection (arrow) tool to the Time Stretch tool, and Resize the Audio event in the Project window.
