Whatever I do, from dragging to changing the “Stem adj.” property, nothing happens.
Any idea? From another post here I thought it could be opposing stems, but both parts have stems pointing upwards so it should be a problem.
Another example: the top staff (condensed Clarinets) has impossible to move beam; the bottom staff (condensed Bassoons) reacts normally.
Wow I love your clefs! They resemble 19th century engraving by Novello.
Which music font are you using Michele?
Indeed! They were inspired by those, my absolute favourite clefs ever since I started to handwrite my own music. The font used for the clefs was drawn by the wonderful @jawher-matmati!
The music font is stock Bravura for everything apart from the clefs
Everything else is Engraving Rules maniacally tweaked and constantly adjusted!
Ciao @MicheleGalvagno, I cannot reproduce the issue. Can you upload an example Dorico file?
I would have already if I could but, in the meantime, I found what I should have done. I will write down the solution here for me and for others in the future:
- in Engrave Mode, lasso select the first and last chord of the beamed group
- in the Properties Panel, go to the Beaming section and deactivate the Start Y and End Y offset switches if they are active
- Now adjust each one of those again starting from 0.
